  • How do I earn points?
    1. Playing a full 18 hole round of golf and positing a score on the USGA GHIN app.
    2. Points for every handicap stroke you shed and Penalties for every stroke you gain.
    3. Winning league sponsored events and winning 1:1 matches.
  • What types of events does 3L1T3 Golf host?
  • Do I have to participate in every event?
    • No, we host a larger number of events so members have more opportunities to play, even with busy schedules
    • There are no weekly commitments or required number of events you must play in.
    • Players may earn points in up to 10 EGA Tour events per SZN
  • How many events does 3L1T3 host?
    • 3L1T3 hosts over 20 worldwide events throughout the host cities. Detroit currently hosts 13 events and the Charlotte hosts 10 events.
  • What is the Difference between the Tour Cup and City Cups?

     

  • What does the winner of the Tour Cup get?
    • The winner of the Tour Cup gets a cash prize and trophy and bragging rights for the next season!
  • How do I sign up?
    • Signing up is easy! Visit the proshop at 3l1t3.golf and chose the membership that best fits your schedule and level of commitment.
  • What do I get when I sign up?
    • The EGA Tour card bundle includes access to over 20 nationwide events, a discounted USGA handicap index, opportunity to win over $1500 in prizes, league swag (tshirt, golf balls and towel).
  • How do I post a score?
    • Included in your membership is a USGA GHIN handicap account. Every round played has to be entered into the app for it to count towards your points. You can post a full 18 hole round of 9 hole round.
  • How do I post a match result?
    • Posting a match result is easy! You can send your scorecard to the email: egatourcup@gmail.com. Scorecards must be legible and clearly indicate the results of the match.
  • What if I there isnt a city cup already in my area?
    • Form a team of four golfers and compete in matches. Encourage your friends in your area to join and as your area grows you can set up local events. The amount of events and matches can be determined by the players in your city cup.
  • What is the Detroit Youth Classic?
    • An annual 2-day stroke play tournament to raise money for Detroit Youth Golf and provide opportunities for kids to play, learn the sport and have fun competing. The event features both a youth and adult bracket with prizes for winning your bracket as well as competitions for closest to the pin and putting competition.
