- How do I earn points?
- There are three easy ways to earn points.
- The first way is by simply playing a full 18 hole round of golf and positing a score on the USGA GHIN app.
- The second way is by getting better and improving your handicap; prorated points for every handicap stroke you improve and penalties for every stroke you get worse.
- The final way is by winning league sponsored events and winning 1:1 matches.

- No, thats what great about the EGA Tour. There is not a weekly commitment or a required amount of events you must participate in. While points are awarded for event winners and matches you get to determine what events you want to participate in.

- Included in your membership is a USGA GHIN handicap account. Every round played has to be entered into the app for it to count towards your points. You can post a full 18 hole round of 9 hole round.

- Posting a match result is easy! You can send your scorecard to the email: egatourcup@gmail.com. Scorecards must be legible and clearly indicate the results of the match.

We have a season-long matchplay tournament including playing a season long rival, spring matches in EGA matchplay tournament, and unlimited matches against anyone with a USGA handicap. The schedule includes 4 majors including the Detroit Youth Classic. Throught out the season players can play at the “Crown Course” where the lowest score at the end of the season is awarded points. The schedule has social scrambles which allow you to compete with your friends; one for each season is currently being played. In the middle of the summer is the All Star Weekend which includes 3 events; 3-club challenge, par 3 shootout, and stableford.

- An annual 2-day stroke play tournament to raise money for Detroit Youth Golf and provide opportunities for kids to play, learn the sport and have fun competing. The event features both a youth and adult bracket with prizes for winning your bracket as well as competitions for closest to the pin and putting competition.
