Ladies & Gentlemen, we are finally back! As of 4/20, the EGA Tour officially launched SZN VI. A lot has happened in the off-season from the potential collapse of LIV to Rory winning back-to-back Masters after getting that monkey off his back. I also know that many EGA Tour Members spent the offseason at both the simulator & driving range to keep their games sharp. The time has come for us to venture back outside! Below, please see some weekly highlights, our Week 1 Rankings, and announcements to keep on your radar!
Weekly Highlights
This year, we are implementing a weekly prize for whoever has the lowest net score on 18 holes that week. This weekly winner will receive 100 points in the rankings as well as Pro Shop credit to use towards event fees or merchandise.
- Our 1st weekly winner of the season is Matt Dijak, who fired a 78 at the revered Pilgrim’s Run in Grand Rapids, MI.
In other news, a contingent of Detroit members headed over to Grand Rapids this past weekend to link up with Matt Dijak & the Grand Rapids crew for some golf. We had quite the slate of courses to play (Pilgrim’s Run, The Meadows, Kaufman GC, and Diamond Springs). PSA to all Michigan golfers who have yet to make a trip over to GR for a golf weekend, its worth it. Just make sure you don’t play with Matt Dijak or he’ll continue to win every event!
